Today, I serve as Board Chair of The Defend Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit building public-interest technology to make digital safety, protection, and remediation accessible to everyone.

For more than 20 years, I’ve founded, built, led, and scaled businesses across startups, growth-stage companies, and global organizations. My experience spans the full business lifecycle—from 0-to-1 innovation and company creation through commercialization and global scale.

My career began in professional sports, working in media, public relations, and marketing with the San Francisco Demons, Oakland Raiders, Detroit Lions, and Rhein Fire of NFL Europe.

I transitioned into enterprise technology through ADP, Actuate, and CareerBuilder before joining Adap.tv as an early employee and its first Business Development Manager, helping establish the strategic partnerships and commercial ecosystem behind a pioneering video advertising platform.

I went on to lead global businesses and business units at Collective, Turn, and Civic Technologies, with responsibilities spanning P&L management, organizational strategy, product commercialization, strategic partnerships, and international expansion.

I founded and built Stitch Video, scaling its global media distribution and monetization business through two acquisition outcomes involving its technology and the company. 

Following my personal experience with cybercrime, I built DFend, an identity-centric digital safety venture that laid the groundwork for my current focus on digital harm.

Alongside my work with The Defend Foundation, I advise founders and executive leadership teams through LvlUp Ventures and theMiracle on strategy, partnerships, and growth. 

I’m also the award-winning author of Privacy Pandemic, a book examining cybercrime, digital identity, and privacy.
